Back by popular demand the Tsali Frosty Foot Fest will again be on the first Saturday in January which will be January 2nd 2010!
ATTENTION FROSTY FOOT FEST RUNNERS!
NEW Course Changes for 2010!
The 50k will feature a wide gravel road start after leaving the main paved parking lot down County Line Road (approx 1 mile) before turning right onto the 1st Right Loop Alternate (approx .4 miles) and then turning left onto the Right Loop (approx 4.5 miles) – WATER STOP (mile 6) – before turning right onto the Over Look Loop (approx 1.5 miles) followed by another right turn onto Left Loop (approx 8 miles WATER STOP at mile 11 or Left Loop marker 4.5) turn right back through the horse parking lot and down near the starting area – WATER STOP (mile 15.5) – before heading back out to Mouse Branch Loop (approx 4 miles) then right onto the Mouse Branch Loop Overlook Trail (NEW this year approx 2 miles) the right back onto Mouse Branch Loop (approx 1.5 miles) – WATER STOP (mile 23.5) – and finally right onto Thompson for the remaining 7.5 miles back to the FINISH!!
The 25k will feature a wide gravel road start after leaving the main paved parking lot heading down County Line Road (approx 1 mile) before turning right onto the 1st Right Loop Alternate (approx .4 miles) and then turning left onto the Right Loop (approx 4.5 miles) – WATER STOP (mile 6) – before turning right onto the Over Look Loop (approx 1.5 miles) followed by another right turn onto Left Loop (approx 8 miles WATER STOP at mile 11 or Left Loop marker 4.5) – HOME! Approximate Total distance: 15.6miles or ~ 25Kilometers
The 5 miler will feature the same course as the previous year but run in reverse minus the prologue trail: A nice wide rolling start from the main paved parking lot – down County Line Road (approx 1 mile) before turning right onto the 1st Right Loop Alternate (approx .4 miles) and then turning right onto the Right Loop (approx 3.5 miles)
- Chilli or Pasta lunch to follow races – free to all participants. (See Poll to vote for your lunch!)
- Feed / Water Stations approximately every 5 miles along courses.
- Race held rain or shine. Promoter reserves right to postpone, shorten and or cancel events
- Awards ceremony and raffle at 2pm, must be present to win.
